The Dock of the Bay

HOMEWARD BOUND...

Florida is beautiful.
I don't understand how anyone would ever want to leave.
Ellenton was great.
The Manning's are truly a great American family.
They produced Carly... duh.
My stay was perfect.
I have long needed a break, and this trip was just what the doctor ordered.
I have stories... too many to say, but call me or coffee with me, and I'll be more than happy to tell you.
Mikeschair played Palmetto First Baptist last night to eager ears and friendly faces.
They were great.
It was strange for me to see them as "rockstars," b/c we are schoolmates, but naturally, it is deserved.
The kids love them.
I get why.
A genuine spirit goes a long way.
So, I'm at the airport waiting to get home.
Thankful for my adventures I am somehow reluctant to retire to my apartment this evening.
It will have to do.

Wishing for the dock o' the bay...
Muchlove.

A disturbance:

The devil is alive and well... unfortunately. In recent weeks, various issues of deceit have been cropping up in and around the people I hold near and most dear. It's got me questioning, which is worse: Disobedience, or blatant disobedience stamped and masked with deception? Heavy stuff. I know. Is either better than the other? Why live a lie when the truth will set you free? Human Nature. geez.

I'm steadily getting through this ridiculous paper. 17-20 pages. It will be quite beneficial once I'm finished, but getting through it's got me down. Spring Break count down: T-12 days. Be blessed!

MuchLove&Peace...ThisWeekAndAlways.
PS: Shaffers... this CD makes me so happy. Thank you for the introduction, and yea for great music!

And the award goes to...

Are you interested in knowing who the greatest friends and family in the entire world are? AH, they belong to me, and no you cant' have them. So, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making this weekend such a special time. You are my reason. Enough said.

Showcase was a blast. I now remember what a rush it is to be onstage. I had forgotten just how much I love it. It was over way to fast. Tremendous thanks are due to cast and crew for making the show such a success. The wailing women of "I'm Every Woman" made the song possible. Seriously. Too much fun.

Next week is Valentine's Day. Break out the vacuum because this holiday sucks. I will be in rehearsal all evening. Thank God.

muchlove.

Continuing with the passion of my last post...

Rain.
On a Sunday.
A day for sleeping, snuggling, and all things indoors.
Should be perfection, right?
NOT QUITE!
I've played mom all weekend, and I don't have a dating prospect, much less a husband.
house sitting/ kidsitting... no, I'm not pregnant.
Granted, I love these kids, but I've had virtually no free time.
What's wrong with this picture?
I'm not ready to be a mom.
I'm not sure I'll ever be ready.
The theme of a great mother: Selfless abandon.
My husband will have to knock me up by suprise.
Right.
You know what?
All males should be required to babysit.
There would be fewer accidents associated with premarital/post marital recreation.
That's my opinion.
Game over.
If possible, you should listen to the above track while reading this post another 2 or 3 times.

lovelovelove.

PS: Chris Thile and Mike Marshall @ The Belcourt this Thursday. See you there!
